So, I am calling this Personal Novel Writer’s Month And A Half, or PENOWRIMOHA. Oh god, that doesn’t work.

Ok, I’m calling this 1130. And I’m going to get it done. If anyone else has a novel started that they’re looking to finish, but don’t want the constraints of NANOWRIMO, feel free to join me.

 I’M IN!  I don’t have time to get to 50,000 words but once I get some other projects out of the way, I’d love to dedicate some time to working on my unfinished novels “Beating Up Your Dad” and “Listen, Brad.”  I probably have 10-15K words on each, so, yeah, it’s pretty serious.  I feel like my talent as a writer has been kept from the world for way too long.  Please no one steal my book titles.  I thought of another book title while I was running but I can’t remember now, so my apologies to the book-loving world and to the publishing industry in general.  I will try to remember it.  It was that good.

I loves me some NaNoWriMo. I try every year. And this time for reals, because… well, because…

…because I am turning 40 next month and I promised myself a long time ago that I would write a book by age 40. And now I’m down to that last month.
