Maybe this explains why I never sympathized with the plight of the Disney Princess.  Then again, Cruella De Vil was my favorite character growing up.  Set aside the fact that she wanted to murder those cute puppies and just think about her as an icon.  She had cool, punk rock hair, a simple little black dress, an elegant cigarette holder and a kick ass car.

My goddaughter is going to be the beautiful one that was saved from terrible living conditions by a prince. I am so proud.
