“Many self-proclaimed atheists like my former self are really agnostics. Nobody likes to be wrong, so allowing that there may be a god is like saying 50% chance of rain. This is very similar to people who claim to be devout christians, muslims, jews, buddhists, whatever, then commit acts or fantasize about things that are forbidden under their faith.
